SEO & Answer Engine Optimization Services

Search changed: queries with AI Overviews send around 37% fewer clicks, and the winners are the sites AI engines cite. I optimize for both sides, Google rankings and AI citations, with developer-grade implementation: schema, performance, structured content, and a freshness system. Audits from $500, implementation from $1,250.

Why hire me for SEO and AEO?

Most SEO consultants hand you a PDF of recommendations and leave the implementation to whoever maintains the site. I am the person who maintains sites, so the fixes actually ship.

Developer-implemented SEO fixes in code
A Developer Doing SEO

Schema, performance, and structured data are code problems. I implement the fixes myself, on Webflow through the MCP or in your Astro or Next.js repo, instead of handing you a report.

Optimization for Google rankings and AI citations
Optimized for Google and AI Engines

Rankings still matter, but AI Overviews compressed clicks, and cited brands earn around 35% more of what remains. Every fix serves both: fast, structured, answer-first pages.

AEO methods practiced on this website first

Everything I sell runs here first: entity schema, verdict boxes, FAQ markup, llms.txt, freshness rotation. Inspect the source before you hire me. That is the point.

How an SEO & AEO Engagement Runs

[STEP-1]
Audit

Crawl, schema review, answerability scoring, and a competitor citation check. You get a scored report, a prioritized fix list, and a fixed quote for implementation.

[STEP-2]
Fix Plan

We agree on what is worth doing. If your site only needs five fixes, I quote five fixes, not a retainer you do not need.

[STEP-3]
Implement in Code

Schema, performance, structure, llms.txt: shipped by me on Webflow or in your repo, with before and after checks so you see what changed and why.

[STEP-4]
Content Architecture

Your money pages get the citable treatment:

  • Verdict-first answers under question H2s
  • FAQ blocks with matching schema
  • Comparison tables AI engines can parse

Your voice, my structure.

[STEP-5]
Track and Iterate

Monthly citation log across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini, Search Console monitoring, and freshness updates. Measured in citations and leads, not vanity rankings.

SEO & AEO FAQ

Q1. What is answer engine optimization (AEO)?
AEO is optimizing your site to be the answer AI engines cite: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google's AI Overviews. In practice it means direct answers under clear questions, schema that machines parse, fast clean HTML, fresh content, and a consistent entity. It sits on top of SEO, not instead of it.
Q2. Is AEO different from SEO?
They overlap heavily: both reward fast, structured, authoritative pages. The difference is the output. SEO earns a ranked link; AEO earns a citation inside an AI answer. The work diverges in content structure (answer-first writing) and in measurement (citation tracking instead of positions alone).
Q3. Do AI Overviews really cost clicks?
Yes. Industry data through 2026 shows queries with AI Overviews send roughly 37% fewer organic clicks, but brands cited inside AI answers earn around 35% more clicks than uncited ones on the same queries. Losing the old click volume is the baseline now; being the citation is the upside worth working for.
Q4. Does llms.txt improve my Google rankings?
No. Google confirmed in June 2026 that llms.txt has no effect on Search or AI Overviews. But Claude, Perplexity, and agentic browsers do fetch it, it costs ten minutes to maintain, and this site ships one. It is a cheap bet on the agentic web, not a rankings play, and I say so plainly.
Q5. How do you measure AEO results?
A monthly citation log: I ask your money questions across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini and record who gets cited. Alongside it: Search Console clicks and impressions, positions on target queries, and leads with their source. You see all of it in the monthly report.
Q6. I already do SEO. Do I need this?
Maybe not, and the audit will say so honestly. But most sites doing normal SEO are missing the AEO layer: no entity schema, no answer-first structure, and content untouched for years. Since 83% of AI citations go to pages updated within the last 12 months, freshness alone changes outcomes.
Q7. Can you work on Webflow sites, or only code?
Both. On Webflow I implement through Claude and the Webflow MCP: metadata, schema, and structure at certified quality. On Astro or Next.js I work in the repo directly. On other platforms the audit still applies, and the fix list is written so any developer can implement it.
Q8. What does it cost?
The audit is $500 to $1,500 depending on site size. Implementation runs from $1,250 fixed. The ongoing retainer starts at $550 per month, the same tier as my support retainers. Every price is published on the pricing page, no call required to find out.

Be the Answer AI Engines Cite

Start with the audit: a scored report on how your site stands with Google and AI engines, a prioritized fix list, and a fixed quote for the work. If your site is already in good shape, the report says so and costs you $500, not a retainer.
